Blueberry facial

What it is
A gentle, blueberry-scented face wash for your dog. I massage it into the face, around the muzzle and under the eyes, where food, dirt and tear marks build up, then rinse it away carefully.
The benefits
- A clean, fresh face with dirt and food marks washed away from the muzzle and beard
- Helps lift tear staining, the reddish-brown marks under the eyes that show most on light coats
- Soft, fluffy face fur that looks great in photos
- Smells of blueberries, so the first cuddle at pick-up is a lovely one
Great for
White and light-coloured dogs, bearded breeds like Shih Tzus, Westies and Schnauzers, and any dog with a messy face after dinner. It's only £5, so it's an easy treat to add to any visit.
A facial cleans the fur and can lighten tear marks, but it doesn't treat what causes them. Heavy or sudden staining, or sore or weepy eyes, are worth checking with your vet.

De-shedding mask

Add to a Full Groom or bath · for breeds that have a de-shed
What it is
A conditioning treatment that sits on the coat during the bath. It helps loosen the dead undercoat so more of it comes out when I blow-dry and brush. A de-shed is already part of every Full Groom for these breeds. The mask is the extra step that helps it go further.

- More loose hair out at the salon, so less ends up on your floors, sofa and clothes
- A softer, conditioned coat that feels lovely to stroke
- Easier brushing at home between grooms
Great for
Dogs that shed: short, smooth coats like Labradors, thick double coats like Huskies and German Shepherds (short- and long-haired), fluffy coats like Pomeranians, and crosses whose coat sheds. What it is
Emmi-pet is an ultrasonic toothbrush made especially for pets. There's no scrubbing: the brush rests gently against each tooth and the ultrasound does the work. Emmi-pet describe it as silent and vibration-free, so it's a calm experience for your dog. No anaesthetic is needed.

Why plaque matters
Plaque is a sticky build-up of saliva, food and bacteria. Left on the teeth, it hardens into brown tartar, which can cause bad breath, sore and inflamed gums, and even tooth loss. The PDSA says brushing plaque away before it turns into tartar is the best way to prevent dental disease.

What it is
A quick, careful trim to keep your dog's nails at a comfortable length. It takes about 10 minutes, and nervous paws are handled gently and patiently.

- Comfier paws: long nails press into the ground with every step
- Better grip on floors, so fewer slips
- Less risk of nails splitting, snagging or catching
- No more clicking on the kitchen floor, and fewer scratches on you
Great for
Dogs between grooms, older or less active dogs whose nails don't wear down on walks, and dogs who aren't keen on having it done at home.
